What a Shit Show
GM Juddy of the Vancouver Canucks was hired midway through season 1 of PTPHL. He was given a mediocre roster with some good young bright spots and the team gave him full reins to do whatever he thought was best for the team. After many many many trades it seems the Canucks are in a worse place than when he started, they traded most of their own picks in the near future for proven vets, and also traded some young talent for vets to try to finally make the playoffs and gonfor a deep run. Well this season was the year for that to happen, and we’ll it didn’t the Canucks draft pick is with the Chicago Blackhawks and it sits at 7th overal, and Juddy and “his” Canucks don’t have a single playoff appearance nevermind a win. Is this team doomed? Can they bring themselves back to the playoffs next season? We here at the Vancouver Reports believe they can.
As stated above Juddy has made what seems like 100 trades since being hired as GM, and towards the end of this year we could see the team really getting a good core with lots of depth as well.
Key Additions Cody Glass, Chris Kreider, Jimmy Vesey, Jonathan Quick, Brady Skjei, and Pavelski Buchnevski. As well as two 1sts and one 2nd in this draft.
Key Subtractions Jonathan Toews, Steven Stamkos, Dougie Hamilton, and Thatcher Demko.
Now at firat glance you say how does losing Stamkos and Toews, two of the best guys in the league make the team better? Well the Canucks problem was lack of depth to match its star power, their forward depth now rivals any team in the league and their defense is one of the best core in the league, and they bring in a legit franchise goalie. We’ve said this in previous articles many times before, but we believe this is the year for Vancouver, expect a deep playoff run, and if not Juddy may be looking for a new job this offseason.
