Olympic Selection Draft
We have ten teams with 14 GMs signed up. Therefore, we will have four GMs pair up with four others to form teams who will work together. It's up to the rest of you guys to figure out who will team up before we have the draft but I will automatically determine teams if required.
All GMs who have entered their name into the tournament will be given a seed from 1-10 which will then be randomized and chosen by www.randomresult.com. I have no control over this other than entering in names, which will be done alphabetically.
Once we have our draft order, #1 will be able to choose which team they would like to manage for the Olympics. 2 will choose, 3, etc. until all ten teams have been taken.
The teams available are:
Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, World (Players from all other nations who cannot ice a full team), United States
I have decided to offer perks to the following teams to help compensate for the fact that their rosters are weaker: Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland, World
If you are the GM of these four teams, you will be given the following privileges:
-4 boosts to be given to players on your team, increasing all attributes of that player by 4 points, temporarily, until the end of the tournament.
Tomorrow, you will be given an export list with all players from your nationality so that you may begin building your team. You are required to submit a roster consisting of a minimum of 13F, 7D, 3G who will be active and able to bet set into your lineup when the tournament begins. There will be a forum section and you can make changes to your team whenever you want before the start date, which will fall some time in February in-game.
Players who are injured when we begin this tournament cannot participate.
The Olympic Draft order will be finalized tonight at 9PM EST.
There will be GM Point rewards for participation and also for performance!
