Cam Fowler D 36 3875000 1 58 79 79 79 80 84 79 84 70 86 67 73 83 79 81 79
Fowler was on the cut list of his team didn’t make the playoffs, he is on one of the final years of his career and he wants a chance at a cup. He will be looking for a 1 year deal at around 4-6m. Money will be a smaller factor, but the chance to compete for a cup is #1 on his priorities. When asking to sign him give me a plan on how you’ll use him, the state of your team and where you finished last year and the improvements you made so far. Also include other FA you might be going for to bolster your team. He will also demand a trade if your team is not looking like a playoff contender around January.
Zach Werenski D 30 6000000 1 99 80 79 83 83 80 71 83 80 81 89 70 81 80 78 80
Werenski has played his whole career in Columbus, but this year he is going to see what potential deal is out there. He wants to be on a team with an active GM, but that’s not to say he won’t return to Columbus. He is looking for a long term deal and would like to be on a winner, or a team at the end of a rebuild that will compete in a year or two. Money will be a bigger factor than Fowler but it won’t be the deciding factor.

Another Blue Jacket who is testing, he is getting closer to end of his career and wants a chance at a cup. Like Fowler money isn’t a huge factor but he still wants a good contract.
Quinton Hughes D 28 3500000 1 55 76 77 78 78 78 57 78 78 88 80 59 78 77 71 77
Hughes felt disrespected by the management in Toronto after they lost in the playoffs and would like to see what’s out there. He is still willing to return to Toronto but if a better situation is seen he will take it. Money is a big factor with Hughes but the right fit and winning will play a factor in to him making his choisce.
