If you have to send down a player who requires waivers, they must be posted in a thread within this section.
A player will be on waivers for a 24 hour period. If claimed, they will be transferred to the team who has claimed them after this period has ended. If unclaimed, they will be sent down to the AHL.
If multiple claims have been placed on the same player, the team currently positioned lowest in the standings will win out on the bid.
A player will require waivers if they are above 70 overall. A player who is currently on their ELC may be sent down without needing to pass through waivers even if they are above 70 overall.
To clairfy, a two-way contract does not mean the player doesn't require waivers to go to the AHL, it simply changes the amount of money they make if they play in the minor leagues.
After we have crossed the Trade Deadline, waivers will no longer apply when sending a player down to the AHL. The AHL cap of $16,000,000 will still be in effect and must be abided by.
