New thread with some updates to what is available.
Every time you write an article, you will earn 4 GM Points (or GMP for short). GM Points can be earned from many difference sources throughout the length of the season, and even from trades with other General Managers.
Your articles must be original pieces of work and not something copied from another website or source. Of course, drawing statistics or quotes from other websites and sources is fine as long as you name the source and it isn't the entirety of your work.
The limit for media posts will be 1 per day!
If you wish to collaborate with another GM on an interview, points will be awarded to both involved parties. If you're answering, you'll get the +2 the same as if you were the one posting the article and asking the question. This will count as the day's article for both GMs involved, including the answering party.
GM Points can be cashed in for rewards. As of Season 6, some prices have been changed. The current rewards available are:
5 GMP = Coach Customization
Spending 5 GMP will allow you to reallocate one point of a coach's attribute line to another attribute. Check the Coaching Customization section for more information on this reward.
5 GMP = Depth Chart
EHM has a depth chart for each team within the program that can be exported to give you a better idea of the depth within your organization and where you may want to focus on improving. Cashing in for this reward will net you this information.
10 GMP = PTPFL Doubler
Cashing in 10 GMP will earn you double points in the PTPFL for a one week period. You may only purchase this once per season.
15 GMP = 1 Scouting Report
We will be offering 3 free Scouting Reports to every GM at draft time but you can purchase more by spending your MP. As an added bonus, the Scouting Reports purchased with MP can also be used on players currently on your team instead of just strictly upcoming draftees. Scouting reports will give you a better idea of how a player will turn out by giving you a 5 point range in which each of the player's attribute will fall.
15-45 GMP = 1 Precise Scouting Report
This is a new system I've been looking to try out. Rather than receive a range and a letter grade, you would get an idea of a player's exact ceiling for that attribute (though keep in mind players can over develop a little depending on training but you will get what the exact ceiling is in the play file) depending on how much you want to spend. POT and CON will continue to be hidden behind the letter grade.
You can simply purchase one of these readings below for 15 GMP.
Precise Offensive Reading - 15 GMP
This will give you an exact number for a player's SH, PL and ST.
Precise Defensive Reading - 15 GMP
This will give you an exact number for a player's CH, PO and HI.
Precise Physical Reading - 15 GMP
This will give you an exact number for a player's SK, EN, FA and ST.
So, it is up to you how in-depth you'd like to scout your player. For the price of a regular report, you can get an exact reading on one of the above. You could pay 30 to receive two or 45 to receive all three, it's up to you how much you want to spend and how thoroughly you want to scout somebody.
15 GMP = GMP Booster
If you purchase an GMP Booster, all of your articles written for the next 7 days will earn you double points (8 instead of 4). As an additional perk, while using a GMP Booster, you will be allowed to post two articles per day, allowing you to make the most of this bonus.
20 GMP = Rename Prospect
You may rename a prospect that you currently own to whatever you wish to call them. The only restrictions are that the name not be something too absurd and that the player being renamed is computer generated and not a real life prospect or player.
20 GMP = Endurance Fix (Fix A Fatty)
You know how players turn up out of shape in camp and it totally tanks their EN? Not a huge problem on young players but potentially devastating for older players who cannot recover. This Endurance Fix will return a player's endurance to a usable state but can only be used on a player who was affected by a Training Camp-induced EN drop.
20 GMP = Position Swap
Change out a forward's secondary position for another. If your forward has LW as a secondary but you'd prefer RW, this is a way to change it. I will not be allowing you to change forwards to D or defense to forward with this.
25 GMP = Additional Underager
You may only purchase this once per season. Everyone will be permitted one underager (a player under the age of 20) on their AHL team. By cashing in for this reward, you will earn an additional second underager.
25 GMP = Attribute Booster
You may only purchase this once per season. Add an additional +3 to any attribute (or attributes, if you prefer to spread the wealth) of a player aged 26+. Players below 26 may still grow and develop but players above that age are likely to have slowed down, making this the only way to improve their skills. As of season 6, you may only boost a player once.

25 GMP = **NEW** PE Booster
You can cash in 25 points to boost the PE of a player up to 70 PE if they are already below the 70 mark.
30 GMP = Shorten Injury
You can cash in 30 points to shorten the length of a players injury by 1/2 it's remaining length. This may be useful if one of your stars has gone down with a long term injury and you'd like to get them back into your line up a little bit faster.
40 GMP = CON Boost
You may only purchase this once per season. Add +5 to a player's CON. CON is hidden, though you may get an idea of where a player's CON may be based on their scouting reports, but it generally effects the consistency of a player and is a very important attribute for a player to have that will never develop or raise under normal circumstances. Now, you have a means of boosting it, once per year. You may only boost a particular player's CON one time.
Season 6 CON Boosts: Buffalo (Malcolm Subban), Calgary (Cameron Whynot), Columbus (Robin Lehner), Detroit (Dennis Cholowski), Pittsburgh (Matt Murray), St. Louis (Dylan Cozens), Tampa Bay (Hannah Montana)

Season 12 CON Boosts: New Jersey (Anthony Cloutier), St. Louis (Yannick Nolet), Tampa Bay (Wayne Difranco)
40 GMP = Delay Retirement
If you have a veteran player who is planning on retiring, you may spend your GMP to delay their retirement by one year. As this is a huge reward, it is by far the most expensive and will remain that way. As of season 6, you may only delay a player one time.
Season 6 Delays: Pittsburgh (Malkin), Tampa Bay (Marchand)
Season 7 Delays: Detroit (Backstrom, Shattenkirk), Philadelphia (Giroux), Vancouver (Atkinson)
Season 8 Delays: Dallas (Subban), Detroit (Hoffman), Pittsburgh (Doughty), San Jose (Lucic), Tampa Bay (Pacioretty)
Season 9 Delays: New Jersey (Karlsson), Ottawa (O'Reilly), St. Louis (Holtby), Tampa Bay (Kane), Toronto (Couture)
